The 3BA has selected Charlie Range
to assist with the development of the new 3BA Referee Association.
Mr. Range played in high school and college basketball, and went on to serve as an assistant basketball coach for 4 years at Stanford University. In 1964 he joined the Pacific 10 Conference as a basketball official. This was the beginning of a 37-year career that included 27 years at the NCAA level and extended over several divisional conferences.
Mr. Range, who will fill the position of Head Referee for the 2008 3BA Summer Tour, brings tremendous experience to the 3BA Referee Association and insures a level of integrity commensurate with 3BA standards.
