3BA Dance TeamPortland, OR - July 19, 2008- Speed, Stamina, Skills! This is the 3BA mantra! Seattle, humming to the 3BA mantra, raced to a 171 - 159 victory over Portland on Friday night in the Rose Garden.

The fast starting Seattle team jumped out to a 47-26 first quarter lead and was up 84 – 65 at mid break.

Portland countered in the third quarter cutting a deficit that at one point in the game had reached 30 points but had no answers for the blazing hot Jamie Booker and the lightning quick Jamal Miller.

Miller shot 21 for 35 from the field and hit 40% from behind the arc for what is sure to be a 3BA record 63 points. Not to be outdone Booker drained 57 while shooting 66% from behind the 3BA 22- foot three-point mark. Jackie Jones had 5 blocks and 18 rebounds for the Seattle squad.

Portland was led by David Lucas who kept pace with Seattle’s Miller and Booker with 49 points. Lucas and four other Portland players filled the stat sheet with double doubles but it wasn't enough as Seattle cruised to victory.
