New Rules, New Game…. Old Rivalry - Shawn Kemp jumps on board!
Seattle, WA July 10, 2008-. Just when fans thought it was over along comes this new concept and the battle lives on! The I-5 rivalry reignites in the new 3BA game scheduled to debut in the Portland Rose Garden on July 18, 2008 at 7PM
Shawn Kemp and Jasen Thomas of Seattle have agreed to assemble a team and share coaching duties for a Seattle 3BA entry expected to give the Portland entry a serious run in the debut 3BA event. Rumors were flying on Wednesday morning that Kemp and Thomas have been holding secret tryouts at the Greenlake community center in Seattle, WA.
The Seattle roster has not been released but Thomas, reached late today, assured 3BA representative Brenda Ford that the Seattle team would be ready for the July 18, 2008 debut and to expect some surprises. For Seattle fans it could not come at a better time as local basketball fans mourn the loss of their beloved Sonics.
The secret is out so look for more surprises coming in the next few days and if you would like to get a sneak peak at the Seattle squad word is they will be practicing at the Greenlake Community Center at 930PM Thursday, July 10, 2008!
