Graduate Student Deric Gruen to compete in Rose Garden event with 3BA

Seattle, WA, July 15, 2008: Graduate Student Deric Gruen was added to the Seattle roster for the debut event of the 3BA Summer Tour at the Rose Garden on Friday June 18, 2008.

The 6’ 6” Gruen did not play high school or college basketball but showed strong at the tryouts held by Shawn Kemp and Jasen Thomas. Gruen should be the biggest surprise of the Seattle squad and an underdog the fans will always appreciate.
